Description:
The winter wind in Toronto was no joke. Arjun sat by the window of a small coffee shop near Dundas Square, watching the snow blur the city lights. While the view was beautiful, Arjun’s mind was miles away—specifically, buried under a mountain of supply-and-demand curves and complex fiscal policy theories.

Arjun was an international student from India, pursuing his Master’s degree in Canada. Between his part-time shifts at a local grocery store and attending lectures, his schedule was packed. This week, however, things had reached a breaking point. He had a 3,000-word paper due on the “Impact of Interest Rates on the Canadian Housing Market,” and he was completely lost.
