Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Test (TNTET) is the state-level exam for recruiting teachers in Tamil Nadu. The exam for TNTET is conducted by the Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB). The candidate who clears the exam shall be eligible for the teacher post in Tamil Nadu. The motive of this exam is to appoint skilled teachers at the elementary and primary levels in Tamil Nadu.
The TNTET exam is conducted once a year, and the exam mode is offline. Therefore, candidates shall be given a center at which they must appear and take the exam. Candidates can register for the exam on the official website of TRB and check the result and hall ticket. The candidates who will clear the exam will be awarded a certificate valid for a lifetime.
The TNTET exam consists of two papers
Paper 1: For Classes 1-5 (Primary Stage)
Paper 2: For Classes 6-12 (Elementary Stage)
