Decide on your theme colours and that these match throughout your wedding party and décor. An outdoor ceremony should be set up in an area with lots of lush, fresh, green grass, ensure that path that you are walking down doesn’t pose any trip hazards, ensure you have adequate seating set up for elderly guests. Decide if you wish to have your guests having a glass of wine or other refreshing beverages while they watch your ceremony or not. Think about the time of day and month of your wedding and the direction of the sun. Even though this is your day and about you, your guests are present and would like to be considered. Keep kids entertained by hiring a helper to look after them for the wedding or have games and activities ready for them, perhaps they can watch a movie in another room at the venue. Think about the music you would like during your ceremony vs your reception. You can help guests by providing transport to the venue, particularly if the venue is a long way out of town. Arrange discounts at local hotels for a group booking. Hire a photo booth, magician, dancer, or some other form of entertainment to keep your guests occupied.
