Feedback and Criticism are a powerful motivator for many people who are employed in a positive working environment. Whether you have been on the receiving end of this feedback or you have been the one giving it, you can benefit from feedback and Criticism Training courses. This course empowers employees to not only recognize the feedback they have been given but also to use the feedback for growth. In addition, if you are looking to enhance the effectiveness of your feedback and criticism process, you will want to take this course.

You need to understand what feedback and criticism is as well as where it is needed the most in the workplace. The employees that you need to inspire to become better at their jobs are those that are willing to take feedback and criticism with a smile. In order for this to happen, you have to first be able to recognize when a particular employee is not giving their best effort.

In order to do this, you must take some time out to observe the person. Pay attention to the things that they do well and then see if there is something that they are doing wrong. Do not focus solely on the criticism you think is harsh or negative. Instead, pick out three or four comments that the employee is giving that you could improve upon. For example, you may notice that the employee is constantly mentioning that they are late but never providing any detail as to why. When you start to compliment these things, you will help the individual develop into being more self-aware.

Once you have begun the process of training employees in recognizing their own strengths and weaknesses, it is important to give them feedback. Asking for feedback can be difficult to do because most employees feel that it is only one thing to be given feedback. However, this is a mistake. It is important that feedback not only be given to improve the process, but that it be taken in an open and polite manner.

Asking for criticisms in a polite manner helps to make the employee feel as if they are welcome to offer their own opinions. Asking for criticism also shows the employee that their opinion matters and that they are not the only one that having an opinion. In turn, this will make the employee more receptive to suggestions made by others during the process of training. After all, many people tend to bring up similar points during the interview process so asking for criticism can help even if it is something that is not immediately apparent to the employee.

The process of training employees in how to give feedback is one that should be done over a period of time. This allows the employees to receive feedback and criticisms from the higher management as well as from those who work under them. It also allows them to learn how to address and handle criticism. For this reason, the training process is usually split into two distinct sessions. In the first session, the employees get feedback and criticisms from those whom they have contact with.

In the second session, the employee gets to do something nice for someone else in return for some feedback or criticism. Either the employee gives the praise or the criticism themselves. If the employee gives praise, they get points while if they give criticism they receive a lower score. In order to keep track of how well they are doing, some companies make a chart or a rating system that is used to determine how well the employees are doing. As each employee receives feedback and criticism, they can see where they stand and how they are improving.

Giving employees training on how to respond and handle criticism is important. It allows them to have better self-esteem and gives them the tools to make informed decisions when dealing with clients and co-workers. If an employer wants to build a strong relationship with his or her employees then providing for training and feedback on how to give positive feedback will also help strengthen that bond. By doing so, an employer can make sure that everyone involved in the process of improving performance is working together in harmony.
