Aurora Community Care provides Supported Independent Living (SIL) services to individuals who would like to live independently but require a little extra support. Our SIL service works with each individual to identify the best way for them to maintain their autonomy, with 24-hour onsite staff available for support when necessary. We provide training and skills development, assistance with budgeting and bill paying, help finding employment or further education opportunities, access to transportation and social activities as well as any other supports that may be required. Our goal is to help individuals gain greater independence in their life while giving them the peace of mind that they can access professional advice whenever they need it.
