Approved as a chemotherapy medication, the bendamustine injection is used to treat chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), multiple myeloma (MM). Combination of bendamustine and rituximab is approved in the treatment of NHL (non-Hodgkin's lymphoma). The usual dose of bendamustine is administered by injection into a vein. Bendamustine belongs to the family of medication named alkylating agent. It works in order to interfere with the mechanism of DNA and RNA. Use of bendamustine 100 mg injection in pregnancy is known to harm the fetus.
