Computer me two types ki memory use ki jati hai Primary Memory and Secondary Memory. Primary Memory bhi do prakar ki hoti hai ROM and RAM. Jab hum Computer ya mobile lene kisi shop par jate hai hum jarur shopkeeper se puchnte hai ki is device me kitna GB ka RAM and ROM hai. Kisi bhi Computer or Mobile ke liye RAM and ROM bahut important role play karte hai.
ROM ka full form hota hai “Read Only Memory” yeh computer se connect other Hardware ke liye important role play karti hai. ROM data ko permanent store kar rakhti hai. Computer me jo bhi Information and Data use kiya jata hai wah ROM par hi save rahta hai jaise application, movies, songs, images, files etc.
Yadi Simple language me ROM ko define kiya jaye to Jab hum computer me koi data dalte hai or internet se download karte hai to wah direct ROM me permanent ke liye store ho jata hai. Aur jab hume is data ki requirement hoti hai use hum wahi se access kar lete hai.
RAM ka full form hota hai “Random Access Memory” yeh memory tab tak use hoti hai jab tak Computer or smartphone on rahta hai. Power off hone ke baad RAM compeletly free ho jati hai.
Yahi simple language me RAM ko define kiya jaye to hamara koi bhi aaplication ROM me store rahta hai lekin jab hum kisi application ko run karte hai to wah RAM me run hoti hai. RAM ka size ROM ke compare me bahut kam hota hai lekin RAM ki speed ROM ke compare me bahut jyada hoti hai isiliye RAM jitney jyada GB ka hoga System utna hi fast chalega. Yahi reason hai ki sabhi bolte hai ki jyada GB RAM wala Computer or smartphone lena chahiye.
Difference Between RAM and ROM
RAM ka full name hai Random Access Memory jabki ROM ka full name hai Read Only Memory.
RAM ki speed bahut jyada hoti hai ROM ke compare me.
RAM bahut costly hote hai ROM ke compare me.
ROM data ko save kar rakhta hai jabki RAM data ko run karta hai.
ROM me data permanent ke liye store ho jata hai jab ki RAM me temporary data store rahta hai, Jab Power off ho jata hai to RAM free ho jata hai lekin ROM me data power off hone ke baad bhi store rahta hai.
