Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India. On 20th March 2025, NVS revised its recruitment rules for various teaching posts under NVS Recruitment 2025, as announced on its official website. The detailed notification for positions such as Principal, PGT, TGT, and Group B Miscellaneous Teachers will be released shortly on www.navodaya.gov.in, providing complete details.
NVS recruits teachers for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) nationwide. The recruitment notification for 2025 includes vacancies for Post Graduate Teachers (PGT), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT), and other teaching positions. This year, NVS has announced 18 teacher posts across various disciplines, including Hindi, Maths, History, Biology, Sanskrit, and English, along with 3,727 posts for teachers needed in Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal.
The selection process usually consists of a written test and an interview. Candidates who pass the written test will be called for the interview. Successful candidates will be hired based on their performance during the interview. Under typical situations, the NVS conducts a written or computer-based test (CBT).
