Mumbai's top program is the two-year Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM). Its goal is to train candidates for employment in a variety of functional areas in industry. Students who complete the program will have strong conceptual skills and be ready to manage businesses in an integrated manner. The curriculum creates flexible managers who can take on roles in a variety of company sectors. The focus should be on creating a manager who is holistic and has the vision to approach future difficulties in a socially conscious manner. The curriculum is equivalent to the MBA offered by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and is also accredited by the NBA.
